I am very interested in the inside Wireman Opportunity with no proffessional experience in the field. What should I do to become a more qualified candidate? I heard about a residential trainee program, and does that sometimes give a candidate the upper hand

Working as a Residential Trainee and gaining field experience is always a good idea. Stop by the office to get an "available to work number". While you are here you can fill out an apprenticeship application. Bring your SS card and photo ID. There is a $25 fee for taking the aptitude test, payable by Money Order to the JATC.
