Christopher M. Cash, Training Director

Chris Cash started with the JATC in 2003, as a night instructor and joined the full time staff on September 24, 2007. Chris worked at our Manassas facility as an instructor for seven years and a then two more years as School Coordinator before recently being appointed Training Director on October 12, 2016. Chris graduated from the IBEW Local Union 26 apprenticeship program in 1995 and from the National Training Institute in 2013. Chris holds a Journeyman’s license in Virginia and Maryland among many other certifications like First Aid/CPR, NJATC Test Administrator/Interviewer, OSHA 30 and 500. Chris has been a member of the IBEW since 1991.

Ralph Neidert, Assistant Director
Ralph Neidert is a Master Electrician in Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. He is certified in EPRI Level 1, AC Drives, PLCs, Fundamentals of Instrumentation, cable testing and fault locating and test instruments. Neidert is a National Electrical Training Director Association member. He began as a part time instructor in 1986, became a full time instructor at the JATC in October 1998, and became the assistant director in 2004. He has been a member of the IBEW since 1981.

Lawrence Hyson, Assistant Director
Lawrence Hyson is a graduate of the apprenticeship program and holds journeyman licenses in Washington, DC and Alexandria City. He has taught at the JATC more than 19 years, beginning as a night instructor in 1990. In 2006, he became assistant director at the JATC. He is a certified OHSA 500 trainer and CPR/First Aid trainer.

Chuck Huften, Assistant Director
Chuck Huften Became An Assistant Director in September or 2015. Prior to that position Chuck was a JATC instructor since November 2005. His certifications include First Aid/CPR, OSHA 500, Fiber Optic Installation, AMP Act 1, NFPA 70E and NJATC Test Administrator. He has been a member of the IBEW since 1994.
