What to do if you receive a RIF/Lay-off?
Take a picture of you pink slip and email it to referrals@jatc26.org be sure to include your full name, last 4 of Social Security, and phone number. Report to the JATC no later than 9:00 am next business day.
DC Apprentice License
Please use the following information to obtain a Washington DC apprentice, journeyman, or master electrical license if needed. For apprentices, you can upload a picture of your dues receipt as documentation you are an apprentice.
You must go on-line to apply for or renew your license and submit payment.
Visit —Board of Industrial Trades | dlcp (dc.gov)– then scroll to Applicant for those applying for the first time. For those renewing licenses, you will select licensee and follow the steps. If you are renewing you can also access dcra – Sign In
The license should be able to be printed from the web site or verified electronically by using the ”License Lookup” feature by name or license number.
The JATC does not control or direct the licensing process. Any questions or problems should be handled with the District of Columbia Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs’ (DCRA) Occupational and Professional Licensing Administration (OPLA) by calling 202-442-4320 or 202-442-4400.
